TECHNIQUE Intensive 

In this 8 day program you will learn how to listen and be present as we explore time and place, circumstances and relationships. We will put it in the body and bring it life. By the end of this session, you will be able to pick up a script or a play and read it, understanding how to break it down into units, beats and actions. To live it fully, you must understand how to do it, how to work, this is technique and we deconstruct and construct the process breaking it down in steps. All classes are in person in Los Angeles.

We will play with a fusion of contemporary acting techniques, including Meisner, Laban and Narrative, advancing the actors knowledge and skill set to draw on in their work. It’s designed to build upon the actor’s prior experience and ability, it also gives those with no experience a solid foundation from which to work.
