Iris teaches scene study and an 8- Day Technique in the room, and the IKC Method on zoom.. Iris coachs actors on auditions for film, TV and theatre.. She studied with Sanford Meisner, as did her mother,. legendary acting teacher, Janet Alhanti. Together they brought the heart into the work. From month long classes in Hawai’i to teaching at Princeton University Winter and Summer Sessions, Iris currently teaches In Los Angeles. She teaches the **8 -Day Technique**every few months where you learn a solid technique taught step by step. She deconstructs it and then constructs it so you understand and then can pick up any material and know how to work.   Upon completion,  invitation into on- going scene study class

 All live classes and workshops will be held in Los Angeles.

  • **8 DAYS TECHNIQUE** August 7th- August 28th MTW&F. 11-2pm

    This class meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11-2pm for two weeks in LA. In this 8 day workshop, you learn: how to listen and respond truthfully; how to make relationships and circumstances specific and truthful. That’s all we buy is the truth. We start wiith Laban’s 8 physical efforts and warm up at the beginning of each class, then Improvisations, scene breakdown and scene This two year Meisner based technique is taught in 8 days.
